A Fun and Fabulous Book Trailer for Halloween Good Night

Halloween Good Night by Rebecca Grabill has one of the best book trailers!

The book trailer trend peaked around 2014, and most publishers don't do them anymore, but now that my first book is soon to be released, I couldn't help myself. Who wouldn't want an adorable audio-visual treat featuring their very own book? So I gathered all my resources and got to work. Twenty-ish hours later (ok, maybe more), this is what I had. Worth the time and effort? I kinda think so. And stay tuned: a how-to post will be coming soon.

Rebecca Grabill

Rebecca has been writing since childhood, her first book about a kitten published between homemade cardboard covers in second grade. Although she studied religion and philosophy in university, she continued writing, earning an MFA from Hamline University and publishing multiple picture books (no longer with homemade covers) and a collection of poetry with a variety of New York and independent publishers. She has also published a wide array of fiction, essays, and poetry in magazines and journals and photographs for Getty Images. She balances writing with homeschooling the younger of her six children, launching her young adults, church activities, and overseeing a small flock of chickens in rural West Michigan.
